Opening Act

So here I am, beginning a blog. My initial motivation for doing this was to start a format for which I could vent some frustrations at some of the nonsense that goes on in my world. I don't really expect that anyone will read what I write, and I don't care that or if they do. Maybe this will inspire me to be more thoughtful and researched. Maybe not.
